The Art Show is produced by Shenandoah Valley Art Center, a non-profit community art center, right here in Waynesboro. We share the visual stories of our region’s artists and serve as a creative home and connection hub for working artists. We work to directly support our member artists while showcasing the creative culture of our region for thousands of visitors each year.

Our small community needs your support to keep going. If you love this art show, please consider donating to ensure its future.

As an organization that lifts artists up every single day, we are heartbroken hearing the stories about the horrific losses following hurricanes Helene and Milton. So many artists have lost so much- whole studios have simply vanished into the water. So much work lost, and so many lives lost and interrupted. Many artists are independent business owners and rely on their work for living expenses. Each and every workspace lost was a lifelong collection of tools, supplies, materials, sketchbooks, ideas, and works in progress. We would love for our community to help us make a meaningful gift to the larger community as well.

Our larger community of artists and artisans in the southeast have suffered unbelievable devastation these past few weeks. Shenandoah Valley Art Center will be donating half of all funds raised this weekend to CERFplus, a non-profit that provides craft artists with support and resources for disaster and emergency relief, education programs, and readiness grants to strengthen preparedness. In short, they help the kinds of artists you see all around you this weekend. Thousands of artists have been displaced and lost so much.

Let’s work together to hold up the arts in OUR community, right here in the Valley, and in our bigger community, too.
