Hey art enthusiasts! Our AC has turned into an abstract art piece – it's officially on strike! We’re hotter than a kiln in here, and we need your help to cool down. Donate to our "Make Art Cool Again" fund, and we'll turn this sweatbox back into a creative oasis. Help us beat the heat and get back to making masterpieces instead of puddles.

Tom Brown Memorial Project

Tom Brown recently passed away. Tom was an SVAC Board member for many years and an active and engaged part of our art family. He was at the Center a lot, fixing things, hauling things, moving lights around, and being generally pretty wonderful. Tom’s wife Myra is an artist and kept a studio at SVAC for many years. Tom was also Executive Director, Piper Groves’ father. We all miss him already.

To honor Tom and his commitment to our community, we will be naming the Printmaking Studio in the 416 W. Main Street Building in his honor. If you would like to help us memorialize Tom and to honor everything that Myra and Tom have contributed to SVAC over the years, please consider a contribution to help outfit the printmaking studio.

We need new track lighting in our gift shop and front hallway. The total project will be about $1000, and a single track and light run about $85.

CNC Vinyl Cutter:
We are looking for a Cricuit machine to help us make gallery signage and other graphics projects. About $250 to get set up and running.
